Grief is such a personal and universal thing that so many of us deal with. Although it is never an easy thing to talk about, I felt it was important to share my experience with grief eating and my relationship with food during a particularly hard period of loss in my life. I’ll talk about how I got through it and what to be conscious and aware of if you are experiencing something similar in your own life. So join me as I navigate:

• Eating for different emotions and associating food with people and grief.
• Reflecting on not having the time to grieve properly in the middle of loss, pregnancy, recovery and responsibility.
• Breaking down the 3 categories of comfort, reward and cope eating.
• Understanding when your emotional eating has become a problem and using the 3A Way to acknowledge, process and have a level of awareness with what you're experiencing.
• Why you need to keep tracking if you want to change your relationship with food.

I hope this episode encourages you to break out of any patterns or cycles of guilt and shame, because you will get through this! Always remember: Keep trying, keep tracking, don’t be intimidated and don’t give up. You’ve totally got this!
